Especially the increasing number of portable devices, such as smartphones, tablets, MP3 players, etc., require accurate data to ensure safety and quality of your products. We carry out all acoustic measurements in a test booth of Desone M: BOX System ZS.

In this way we realize the acoustic separation of the measuring station from the environment and carry out precise measurements in an extremely "quiet" environment without disturbing influences.

Measuring Instruments

Acoustics is omnipresent in our lives! Whether as music, voices, sounds or noise from the road. These acoustic incidences always lead to two questions which are the focus of our customers:

  1. How does my device sound?
  2. Is it loud enough or perhaps even louder than allowed?

With our modern measuring system from Audio Precision and an ear simulator AG43 from G.R.A.S., we can help to answer these questions by using measurement data.

  • Sound level measurements (near & far field)
  • Audio frequency response, THD, FFT
  • PMP measurements

Measuring Tasks

Typical measurement tasks of our laboratory are:

  • Long-term use of headphones on "personal music players" (smartphones, MP3 players, etc.) according to EN 50332
  • Max. Sound pressure levels of mobile phones, children's toys, etc. (acoustic shock and long-term sound level measurement)
  • Sound pressure level, frequency response, FFT analysis on acoustic devices such as loudspeakers, headphones, MP3 players, tablets, smartphones, etc.
  • Language intelligibility measurements of PA systems according to STI
  • Special measurements, e.g. PESQ measurements, which are tailored to your individual needs and requirements.
